Product Description
GEE GETIG 70S2 (ER70S-2) is a premium copper-coated TIG welding filler wire designed for welding unalloyed and micro-alloyed steels. It contains Aluminium (Al), Titanium (Ti), and Zirconium (Zr) as strong deoxidizing elements, along with controlled Manganese and Silicon content.
The filler wire is suitable for welding applications where clean welds, smooth flow, excellent bead appearance, and reliable mechanical properties are required. Its low impurity levels make it suitable for welding semi-killed steels as well as rusty or contaminated joint areas.
The deposited weld metal can meet X-ray/radiographic quality requirements under optimum welding conditions. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring impact performance at sub-zero temperatures.
