ALFA 316L Stainless Steel Flux Cored Welding Wire is a low-carbon, austenitic stainless steel flux cored wire designed for all-position welding. Its 18% chromium, 12% nickel and 2% molybdenum composition provides improved resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in chloride-containing environments.
The wire is suitable for welding similar 2% molybdenum stainless steel grades such as AISI 316, 316L, 316Ti and 318, as well as high-temperature service applications.
