ADOR ZEDALLOY 12 Mn is a hardfacing welding electrode designed for applications involving severe impact and gouging-type abrasion wear. It features a basic-type coating and produces a typical 12% manganese deposit with excellent work-hardening characteristics under severe impact conditions.
The weld deposit is easily machinable, crack-free and sound. ZEDALLOY 12 Mn is recommended for build-up and cushioning applications and for hardfacing components subjected to high impact and abrasive wear.
A Betachrome-N buffer layer is recommended when welding onto mild and low-alloy steels.
