The Ralli Wolf UMG 14 is a universal geared motor built for circuit breaker applications, combining a DC motor with an integrated gearbox to deliver low, controlled output speed rather than the high-RPM output typical of ungeared SPM and UM motors elsewhere in the range. Available in 220V or 110V DC configurations, it offers flexibility across different DC switchgear and control system voltages.

The built-in gear reduction brings output speed down to just 17-19 RPM — dramatically lower than Ralli Wolf's ungeared circuit breaker motors, which commonly run into the thousands or tens of thousands of RPM. This low-speed, presumably higher-torque output is suited to mechanical functions within a circuit breaker requiring slow, deliberate, high-force motion rather than rapid spinning action — such as driving a mechanical linkage or positioning mechanism directly, without needing external gearing.

Current draw scales with the voltage variant selected, running from 0.6A/1.2A at no load up to 1.2A/2.4A at full load, with a full-load input power of 18W across both variants.
