The Metro Ratchet Pipe Threader is a heavy-duty hand threading tool used to cut precise, clean pipe threads across a wide range of pipe sizes, from 1/2" up to 4" BSP. Built with a heavy C-class body, it's designed for the repeated torque and stress of manual pipe threading in plumbing, fabrication and pipefitting work.

The ratchet pin and scroll mechanism are hardened for longer life, holding up to the wear that comes from repeated engagement and release during ratcheting action — a common failure point on lower-quality threaders. This hardening directly extends the tool's working life under regular professional use. Chasers (the cutting dies within each die head) are also hardened to increase wear and tear resistance, delivering very fine, clean thread quality even after extended use.

The range is comprehensive, covering ratchet die sets, individual collets with chasers, and spare ratchet handles across multiple size classes: 1/2"-1" BSP and NPT/BSPT variants, 1-1/4" to 2" BSP, 2-1/2" to 3" BSP, and 4" BSP.
