Product Description
GEE GETIG 309L / ER309L is a stainless steel filler rod designed to produce a 24% Chromium / 13% Nickel austenitic stainless steel weld metal with approximately FN 12 ferrite content.
Its high alloy level and ferrite content allow the deposited weld metal to tolerate dilution from carbon and low-alloy steels while helping prevent hot cracking. The deposited weld metal is specified as radiographic quality.
